I can't believe the summer is already over, I never even posted all the wonderful trips we had this summer- we went to Big Bear, Bakersfield , Lego Land and the "Bishops" - yes my kids thought going to the Bishops to spend the weekend was a great little vacation!!!!

Dominguez Reunion

After many years my mother and my aunt Martha managed to get are families together from my father's family " The Dominguez Families" . We had never met several of them or had not seen them since we were kids. Joel and Ruthie met their only living Great Grandparent, Grandpa Henry who is 93 years old. Everyone had a great time, thanks to the husbands ( big kids) who entertained the kids with basketball games, baseball games, tennis etc....
A big thanks to my mom for putting this all together, it really was a memorable time.

Ruthie Hospital 05/11/08

Well it's been another week at the hospital, Ruthie had to go back to the hospital on Mother's Day evening because of swelling on her abdomen. She had to go through surgery again to have fluids and an abcest removed. Obviously she is feeling much better as you can tell from the picture Dette took. It is going to be several weeks before Ruthie can return to school and even longer before she will return to normal activities. She will have a nurse come to the house daily to change the bandage and check on her healing process. Once again thanks for everyone's support and kindness. This has been a very difficult seeing Ruthie in so much pain but she is on the road to recovery. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers.

Ruthie in Hospital

Poor Ruthie had her appendix removed on Friday 05/02/08 after complaining of stomach pains when she woke up.

She stayed in the hospital 5 days because she had a fever. She had lots of people praying for her and thinking about her. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

We went to Knott's Berry Farm on Sunday and had a great time.

Joel and Rick love to play soccer together, actually they love to do about anything together. They are playing on a Fantasy Soccer League online and Joel is in 2nd place and Rick is in 1st.

Mom & Ruthie

Ruthie loves when I come to her class on Fridays and help with cooking time.

She helped me wash my car and plant flowers this week. She also planted 3 pots of marigolds so she can take care of them.

Ruthie Bolton

Ruthie is 6 years old and in Kindergarten. She is very kind and well behaved at school. She loves going to daycare and school.

She is playing Rookie Ball on the Angels and is doing well for being the youngest on the team.

She loves to play in the garage with her Barbie House and all collection of stuffed animals.

Joel Bolton

Joel is 9 years old and is in 3rd Grade. He is trying for the first time Flag Football and will have his 1st game this Saturday.

He really loves Soccer and Baseball.

He is determined to not miss a day of school and so far has succeeded since beginning Kindergarten.
